With two people sharing a two-bedroom suite, you’ll each pay $1,307 per month instead of the standard $1,416 per-bedroom rate. That means you’ll each save $109 every month, each, while still enjoying the privacy of your own bedroom.

How It Works
Choose your roommate
Connect with another McMaster student you would like to live with at 10 Bay Residence.
Apply and let us know
- Each roommate must submit a separate application to 10 Bay Residence.
- Complete your application and list your preferred roommate where indicated. The promotional rate will not appear until your eligibility has been verified.
- After saving your application, email 10bay@mcmaster.ca with both roommates’ names and student number, letting the team know that you would like to participate in the Better Together Program and live together.
- The 10 Bay team will verify your eligibility and apply the discounted rate to your lease before it is ready for signing.

- The Better Together rate is available to eligible residents sharing an approved two-bedroom suite at 10 Bay Residence.
- Two eligible residents must occupy the suite to qualify for the promotional rate.
- The promotional rate is $1,307 per person, per month, based on two residents sharing a two-bedroom suite.
- Each resident must complete the required application and leasing process.
- Suite and roommate requests are subject to availability and approval.
- The offer is available until September 30, 2026.
- The offer cannot be combined with another promotion or discount unless otherwise specified.
- Eligibility will be verified during the 10 Bay Residence application and leasing process.

No. Two-bedroom suites are subject to availability, and roommate and suite requests must be reviewed and approved by the 10 Bay Residence leasing team.
